A tragic incident occurred in Seabrook on Friday when a 23-year-old woman was fatally shot at her apartment. Two young children, who were found unharmed, were in the same apartment when the shooting took place.

The woman was identified as Mary Jane Collins, and authorities quickly moved the children to safety. The shooting happened at the Teakwood Apartment Complex and was reported around 11:30 a.m.

When police arrived, they found Collins dead and her two children alone in the apartment.
