A Hornellsville man was recently arrested in connection with the theft of three RVs from Tonawanda, New York. Authorities identified the suspect as James E. Nelson, a 52-year-old man, who was taken into custody on October 17.
Nelson is facing charges of possession of stolen property in the second degree, a class C felony, according to a statement from the Steuben County Sheriff’s Office.
The investigation into this incident began after RVs were reported stolen from the Tonawanda area.
Law enforcement later discovered that the vehicles, which are valued at over $50,000, were being kept at a location in Hornellsville. Nelson was allegedly found to be in possession of all three stolen RVs.
