On Saturday, a man from Hickory reported that his race car, truck, and trailer were stolen in South Carolina.

NASCAR racer Allen Huffman said that his ministry and racing equipment, along with his Chevrolet Silverado, a 28 Vintage trailer, and a super truck inside the trailer, were taken. In addition, Huffman is a motivational speaker for the Hickory-based NCN Ministries.

A Chevy truck with a trailer that contained a custom race truck was taken from the Home2Suites on Woody Jones Blvd. sometime during the evening, according to the City of Florence Police Station, which is why they came to the scene.

According to the police, they are looking into the theft right now.

In order to participate in a race, Huffman, his brother, and their teammates were lodging at the motel. The hotel is situated away from the 95 Freeway.

Everything his squad needed to go racing was on the trailer, Huffman said WBTV Sunday morning.

Please call 911 if you see the car and trailer in Florence or the surrounding region.
