The California Lottery says that two lucky people, one in the East Bay and one in the North Bay, won a total of $7.8 million on Scratchers tickets.

A man named Andres Gamboa won $5.8 million when he played a Royal Riches Scratchers game and got the jackpot prize. His lucky ticket was bought at the Fremont 7-Eleven on Fremont Boulevard.

They said that Michael Turner won $2 million on a $10 Millionaire Maker Scratchers that he bought at a U Save Liquor in Novato.

Both of those businesses will get extra money for selling lottery tickets.

Another winner was a nurse in Shasta County, California. While she was on break, she bought a $10 Power 10’s Scratchers ticket that won her $1 million jackpot.

The AM-PM shop on Churn Creek Road in Redding is where she bought her lucky draw ticket.

In the Mega Millions draw on Friday night, there were no jackpot winners. This means that the pot will be around $420 million for the next draw on Tuesday.
