A man is in critical condition after a shooting at a luxury condo in Kendall early Monday morning. Authorities suspect the incident may have been a robbery.
The shooting took place around 12:30 a.m. near the 9600 block of South Dixie Highway, right outside the Crest condo building.
Miami-Dade Police responded to the scene after receiving reports of gunfire and found the victim with multiple gunshot wounds.
The man, whose identity has not been disclosed, was immediately rushed to Jackson South Medical Center where he remains in critical condition.
The crime scene was marked by a heavy police presence and multiple evidence markers.
Footage from the area revealed bullet holes in a window and the side of the building, as well as a noticeable trail of blood leading from the condo.
Investigators are working to piece together exactly what happened but believe the attack may have been linked to a robbery attempt.
