Man Shot in Bronx Apartment Hallway: Police Take 7 Into Custody After Deadly Fight!

A 26-year-old man lost his life after being shot in the hallway of a Bronx apartment building on Wednesday night. Police took seven people into custody shortly after the incident, as they continue their investigation.

The shooting occurred in the seventh-floor hallway of the Saint Mary’s Houses, located on Westchester Avenue.

It happened around 8:30 p.m. Wednesday when the victim got into a confrontation with at least four other men in the hallway.

Shots were fired during the argument, hitting the victim in the upper right shoulder. He was rushed to Lincoln Hospital, where he was pronounced dead.

Police are still investigating the reason behind the fight.

Money was found on the floor, leading detectives to look into whether the argument was related to a robbery. Authorities have not yet released the name of the victim.

In the early hours after the shooting, police specialized units arrived at the apartment building, searching multiple apartments.
