Miami-Dade jurors vote for death for man convicted of fatally beating lady in Hialeah

Eight years after a woman’s bloody, naked body was found in the grass next to a Hialeah hotel, a Miami-Dade jury said her killer should also be put to death.

The same jury found Ronald Lopez Andrade guilty of raping and then killing Yaimi Guevara Machado, who was 30 years old.

Late Wednesday night, an 8-4 vote showed that the jury still thought the death penalty would be the best sentence, even though not all of them thought the crime was horrible, horrible, or cruel.

The jury also decided that the convict committed first-degree murder while committing the sexual battery.

The police report says Machado was at the Chesapeake Motel at 935 W. Okeechobee Road with a friend when she locked herself out of her room without being fully dressed.

The report said Lopez Andrade left his room around 4:30 a.m. and bought four beers and cigarettes in the hallway. The report said he talked to the clerk and cleaning lady and asked them if there were any hookers.

Then Lopez Andrade saw Machado, who was only wearing a bra and pants, and gave her his shirt. The story said that Lopez Andrade got angry when Machado turned down his advances, and the two started fighting.

The government says Lopez Andrade raped her and then killed her by strangling her.

Machado’s body was found in the open area behind the motel, with no clothes on.

The woman’s sad death shocked her family in South Florida, and the Hialeah motel was told to pay her parents $12 million because its staff failed to do enough to stop her death.

The claim said that the staff sold Lopez Andrade alcohol, tried to help him find a prostitute, and let him stay at the motel even though he wasn’t a guest.

The Lopez Andrade family also said that staff did not kick him out of the property after he asked a maid for sexual favors.

When it comes to Lopez Andrade’s criminal trial, there will be another meeting later this year. This time, the judge will decide the final sentence.

It’s the second time this year that a Miami-Dade jury has said the person should be put to death.
