The FCS football semifinals’ viewership numbers have been made public.
An ESPN insider told Sam Herder, Senior FCS Analyst for HERO Sports, that over 1.3 million viewers saw Montana State defeat South Dakota, and over 1.5 million watched NDSU defeat SDSU.
That’s over a million more people than saw the 2023 semifinals on ESPN2, which drew 790,000 for NDSU-Montana and 476,000 for UAlbany-South Dakota State.
On Monday, January 6 at Toyota Stadium in Frisco, Texas, NDSU will play Montana State in the FCS National Championship.
