Moore resident died in a rear-end crash on I-35 near Goldsby Saturday night

Oklahoma’s Goldsby (KOKH) In Goldsby, a collision on I-35 close to mile marker 103 claimed the life of a Moore man.

The Oklahoma Highway Patrol (OHP) reports that the accident occurred on Saturday, December 7 at approximately 8:49 p.m.

Blake C. Smith, age 20, struck the back of a Freightliner that was being driven by Demetrious Denson, age 58.

Due of traffic congestion, Denson’s car slowed.

It was determined that OHP’s careless driving was the cause of the collision.

The Goldsby and Purcell fire crews had to rescue Smith after he had been stuck for approximately an hour.

At that moment, he was declared dead.

Denson was unharmed.
