At seven o’clock on Wednesday morning, a domestic disagreement between a married couple in the City of Yonkers turned deadly when the husband shot his wife many times, resulting in her death.

He then turned the pistol on himself, resulting in his own death, according to the police.

Sean O’Neill, 54, was found to have shot and killed his wife, Arlene O’Neill, 47, at their residence located at 142 Chittenden Avenue, according to the findings of the inquiry, which were reported by the detectives.

Arlene O’Neill was a teacher in the Eastchester Union Free School District, and Sean O’Neill was a retired New York Police Department officer, according to the information that was acquired.
