A new video shows the impact of a hit-and-run crash that killed a motorcyclist on an Orange County freeway in August. The California Highway Patrol is looking for the driver.
Around 11 p.m. on August 30, the crash took place. The California Highway Patrol was sent to the area of State Route 91 and Gypsum Canyon Road. When they got there, they saw a dead man lying in the road next to a badly damaged motorbike.
Newly released video from a dash cam seems to show the moments right after the crash. When you watch the film, you can see a white pickup truck speeding off after hitting the motorcycle.
The CHP said they think they may be looking for a white Chevrolet Silverado with some damage to the front right corner.
In this case, police said it could be dings or damage to the right front door, quarter panel, or side mirror.
