Kiara Quinonez asserted that the flight attendants provided her with a strawberry shortcake ice cream sandwich made by Nightingale brand during her journey on August 20 from John F. Kennedy International Airport in New York City to Charles De Gaulle Airport in Paris, France.

In the case, it was said that the desert was “at a temperature below what is reasonable or safe for consumption,” and that Quinonez was not given any warning “of the dangerously cold temperature and solid state of the ice cream sandwich she was served.”

Quinonez is said to have sustained “severe and permanent bodily injuries” as a result of biting into the ice cream sandwich, as stated in the complaint. It is also mentioned that she continues to pay fees for ongoing therapy.

Christopher S. Fraser, an attorney at the Dweck Law Firm, is representing the woman, and he has requested that a jury trial be held in order to decide the amount of compensation that JetBlue ought to render for the alleged damages.

A lawsuit has been filed against JetBlue Airways by a woman who claims that she suffered major ailments as a result of eating an ice cream sandwich.

According to the allegations, she experienced a root fracture in tooth number 10, which is also generally referred to as the upper left lateral incisor. This tooth is located directly adjacent to the left front facet of the mouth.

According to the lawsuit, Quinonez asserted that she required “immediate” medical treatment upon arriving in Paris upon her arrival.

As a result of her injuries, she was forced to have the tooth pulled, which ultimately resulted in her having an implant in addition to other therapies.

“As a direct and proximate result of the acts of Defendant, its agents, and/or servants as afore-described, Plaintiff sustained severe.

Permanent bodily injuries, suffered pain, suffering, and mental anguish, and incurred expenses for medical care and treatment, all of which are continuing,” the lawsuit claimed in its complaint.

On October 22, some months after the claimed incident took place, Quinonez submitted his complaint to the Eastern District Court of New York.

This follows on the heels of another client of JetBlue bringing a complaint over severe burns she reportedly sustained as a result of a cup of hot tea that she did not properly protect herself from.

The lawsuit that was filed in June stated that Tahjana Lewis, who was from Connecticut, was traveling with her daughter, who was five years old, on an aircraft that was departing from Orlando, Florida, and heading to Hartford, Connecticut.

Lewis asserted that a flight attendant accidentally dropped the cup of hot beverage that she was serving to a fellow passenger, which resulted in the tea spilling all over her.

According to the allegations made in the lawsuit, Lewis has suffered serious burns on her upper chest, legs, buttocks, and right arm, some of which will be more permanent than others.

In the case that she filed, she asserts that the flight crew did not “properly administer first aid” after the emergency situation had occurred.
