North Carolina guy wins $200,000 top prize after purchasing a $5 scratch-off at a convenience store

One of the winners was David Webb of Burnsville, who bought a $5 scratch-off and won the $200,000 grand prize.

Webb got the three-draw Triple Red 777 ticket that won at the Triangle Stop Food Store on Saluda’s Ozone Drive.

He went to the lottery’s main office on Monday to claim his win.

He took home $143,001 after federal and state taxes were taken out.
