Regarding the well-known killings of Ron Goldman and Nicole Brown Simpson, there seems to be an update. O.J. Simpson may have confessed to the killings on tape, according to law police.

According to a recently issued search warrant that TMZ was able to get, Minnesota police claim to have a thumb drive that contains O.J.’s confession to Nicole and Ronald’s deaths.

O.J. has implicated an unnamed third party in the recording, the report tells authorities.

The warrant states that while investigating another case, police seized a rucksack belonging to a man called Iroc Avelli that included many thumb drives.

Avelli used to be O.J. Simpson’s bodyguard. According to the Bloomington Police Department in Minnesota, they received a tip from an LAPD detective in June 2024, just two months after O.J.’s death.

According to this investigator, Avelli and his lawyer met with the LAPD and disclosed that a thumb drive with O.J.’s confession was found inside a green bag.

To access the thumb drive’s contents, Minnesota police had to get a fresh search warrant. In June, they went to a judge and were given the go-ahead. The results of the thumb drive’s contents are still waiting, according to legal documents.

The thumb drive in question is reportedly the subject of legal action right now, with Avelli and his lawyer suing the Minnesota police to recover all of his confiscated property, according to TMZ. But a judge rejected their request to return the things in July.

It’s unclear if the Bloomington Police Department has looked into the matter or provided the LAPD with information because they still possess the disk.

As you know, O.J. Simpson was charged with Nicole and Ron’s murders in 1994. Although he was declared not guilty at the Trial of the Century, he was later held accountable for their deaths in a civil action.
