Today, OHIOAmin Walker, 23, was taken into custody by the US Marshals-led Northern Ohio Violent Fugitive Task Force (NOVFTF).

Following a deadly incident earlier this month, Walker was wanted by the Cleveland Heights Police Department on charges of aggravated murder and robbery.

The Cleveland Heights Police Department reports that on January 4, 2025, at around three in the morning, police were called to a residence in the 3500 block of Randolph Road.

Upon arrival, they found 74-year-old Edith Moore with a gunshot wound to her head. On the spot, she was declared dead.

In addition, an 18-year-old guy was found with a non-life-threatening gunshot wound to his leg.

Arrest warrants were issued for Walker and a 16-year-old boy after they were named as suspects in the shooting.

The 16-year-old suspect was already taken into custody by Cleveland Heights police, but Walker was still at large as of today.

He was captured by NOVFTF members at a residence in the 1000 block of East 77th Street in Cleveland.

According to U.S. Marshal Pete Elliott, “our officers worked tirelessly over the past several days to arrest and remove this violent fugitive from the streets because he posed a threat to our community.” The Cleveland Heights Police Department deserves recognition for their outstanding efforts in helping our task force locate the perpetrators in this case and make the arrest.

If you know of any wanted fugitives, call 1-866-4WANTED (1-866-492-6833) or submit a tip online, according to the Northern Ohio Violent Fugitive Task Force.

There is reward money available, and tipsters can stay anonymous.
