People have said that Las Vegas is one of the best places to go for Halloween. That shouldn’t be a surprise, of course!
Vegas always has a lot going on for Halloween, and there are a lot of parties where you can show off your costume. The WalletHub list of the best cities for Halloween in 2024 just came out, and Las Vegas was number four on the list.
Is Las Vegas One Of The Best Cities For Halloween?
WalletHub looked at 20 important factors about the 100 biggest cities in the US to find the best ones for Halloween.
Some of these measures are the number of costume shops per person, the crime rate, and the percentage of possible trick-or-treat stops.
Chip Lupo, an analyst at WalletHub, says, “Halloween is a big part of American culture, and every year we spend billions of dollars celebrating.” But it’s also a holiday with some danger, since kids go to the homes of strangers at night.
In addition to having lots of activities, Halloween-themed stores, and nice weather, the safest places for Halloween are also the ones with the most activities. That sounds like Las Vegas! That’s why the city was ranked 4th.
Still, Vegas got a score of 59.25 and had the best Halloween run rank in the whole country. That’s not a surprise either. But its Halloween weather score of 93 was what brought it down.
WalletHub’s list put New York City, New York at the top. For some reason, New Yorkers are thought to be blunt, but this place had the second best Trick-Or-Treater kindness score. Has that been settled for good?
Where are the towns that are the worst at Halloween? WalletHub said that Memphis, Tennessee, with an overall score of 29.81, was the worst place on the list. It got the worst marks for being friendly to Trick-Or-Treaters, so keep that in mind.
Tennessee and Louisiana’s Baton Rouge and Nashville were also at the bottom of WalletHub’s list.
It’s where Cort Freeman was born and raised. After finishing from high school 13 years ago, he was named Class Clown for the 2009 year.
It’s perfectly normal for that to happen. He was able to do that because he worked as an intern at Comedy Central and as a social media reporter for The Colbert Report.
It’s been all over the country that Cort has done stand-up comedy. On-air and online, he tries to make you laugh. At home, he probably watches his favorite shows, like Seinfeld, South Park, and The Office.
He also doesn’t like writing about himself in the third person at all. Cort likes to write about funny things, food, sports, and fun things to do. In other words, pretty much everything.
