North Carolina police are looking for a murder suspect who they think is violent and armed.

In an update, the Lumberton Police Department said Tuesday that Tauris Cabbagestalk, 25, of Lumberton, is being sought in relation to a shooting death that occurred on October 26.

Warrants for first-degree murder and firearm discharge inside city limits have been issued to Cabbagestalk.

It is believed that Cabbagestalk fired the shot that killed Justin Whitted, 34. Officers saw Whitted dozing off outside his car close to the junction of Saddletree Road and NC Highway 211.
