Police in Pittsburg are looking for the hit-and-run driver who was involved in a tragic crash.

Pittsburg police are searching for the driver of the vehicle that struck and killed a man on Friday night.

When officers arrived to the 1500 block of Willow Pass Road at approximately 9:17 p.m., they discovered a person lying in the street.

Joaquin Revuelta, 50, was discovered by officers unconscious and laying in the road. He was seriously injured after being struck by a car. After being brought to John Muir Medical Center, Revuelta did not survive the night.

After discovering footage of the collision on local traffic cameras, police announced Monday that they are investigating multiple leads.
