Popular NJ BBQ Chain Announces Closing of 30 Locations

A beloved restaurant or store that is going to undergo major cuts once more is the last thing you want to see.

Particularly since it’s one of the most famous and well-known barbecue chains in the country, not just in New Jersey!

And by popular, I mean that, with over 500 locations nationwide, it’s likely one of the biggest BBQ franchises in the nation.

I’m afraid they’ll be on Jeopardy because eight of the locations are in New Jersey.

When we initially arrived here from Central Pennsylvania in early 2022, Dickies BBQ was my introduction to Jersey BBQ.

We have been frequent patrons of Whiting Dickies since they started a few years ago, and Gary and his staff are amazing.

It looks like Dickies headquarters in Dallas, Texas, has announced that they would be closing more stores. I hope this doesn’t apply to them.

Parade Dickes claims that over the past three months, BBQ Pit has been progressively closing its locations and has announced an additional thirty closures.

The chain said it will close 100 stores nationwide back in the autumn, and it looks like the cuts will go on.

According to reports, 30 more Dickies BBQ locations nationwide are set to close soon.

After just one year of business, the Dickies in Sewell closed last year; read more about that here.

I hope that the 2023 Dickies loss is the only one Jersey will experience.

Our barbecue is one of our favorite dinners!
