Authorities reported that because of fabricated allegations of an active shooter, Monta Vista High School in Cupertino was placed into lockdown Monday morning.
According to the Santa Clara County Sheriff’s Office, deputies are currently investigating the report at the McClellan Road facility.
Shortly before 10 a.m., the sheriff’s office posted on social media, “There are no active threats, and all students and staff are safe.”
