Reports: Woman suspected of running over pregnant woman on Charlotte’s Interstate 85

CHARLOTTE, N.C. – It is said that the lady ran over a pregnant woman on Charlotte’s I-85 and was then arrested.

On Sunday, Oct. 20, Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police arrested Kimberly Price, who is 42 years old. Charges were brought against her for attack with a deadly weapon and battery of an unborn child.

Police reports say she ran over the lady with her car even though she knew she was pregnant. Around the 830 block of I-85 South is where the crime took place. The woman was hurt badly and taken to a nearby hospital. Officials did not say what damage her baby had.

Price was given a bond of $5,000.
