A female suspect has been taken into custody by San Francisco police in relation to a double shooting that took place at a housing complex on Bryant Street on Thursday morning, authorities said.

According to the police, the incident occurred on the 800 block of Bryant close to 6th St., not far from the San Francisco Hall of Justice, at around ten in the morning. The Mercy Housing complex was the location of the incident, according to reports from the site.

In the building’s lobby, responding police discovered a man and a woman who had been shot and taken to the hospital. They’re supposed to live. When police got on the site, the suspect had already left, according to the police.

At first, police did not disclose any details on the shooting suspect, stating that they were still in the early phases of the investigation.

Later, police verified that Tenderloin Station officers had arrested an adult female suspect just before 12 p.m. on the 300 block of Hyde Street. The suspect in the ongoing inquiry has not been identified by authorities.

Multiple persons were hurt in the second shooting that occurred in San Francisco on Thursday morning. Additionally, police were looking into a shooting at a Bernal Heights residence that killed a man and left two others, including a toddler with less serious injuries and a woman in critical condition, injured.
