During a welfare check on Wednesday afternoon, Santa Rosa police discovered four bodies.

Shortly after 3 p.m., officers responded to a welfare check at the residence on the 200 block of Monarch Court.

Four dead were discovered inside the house, according to police who entered. Their deaths are being looked at as possible homicides.

According to the police, their age, gender, cause of death, and relationship to one another cannot yet be verified.

The home’s residents hadn’t been seen in a few days, so the welfare check was requested. According to the police, there is no threat to public safety.
