Santa Rosa police search for suspect in Roseland homicide

Following the discovery of a woman who was murdered Monday night in the city’s Roseland district, Santa Rosa police are looking for a homicide suspect.

Officers were notified of an injured woman on the sidewalk of Whitewood Drive, just north of Hearn Avenue, at approximately 6:50 p.m. The cops discovered a woman who appeared to be injured but was not responding when they arrived.

Despite receiving first aid, the woman was subsequently pronounced deceased.

According to the police, the death is being investigated as a homicide. No more details regarding the situation were disclosed right away.

The Sonoma County Alliance Community Engagement and Safety Rewards Fund is offering a reward of up to $2,500 for information that leads to the identification and apprehension of the offender or suspects in this case.
