In a heartbreaking incident that has shocked Texas, a 39-year-old man named Kyle C. has been arrested for killing his younger brother, Brad C.

The tragedy began with a fight over accusations that Kyle was having an affair with Brad’s wife.

The crime happened back in 2022, but Kyle managed to avoid capture until recently when he was found in Iowa. The incident occurred on March 11, 2022, after a heated argument between the brothers.

According to police reports, the argument started when Brad accused Kyle of having an affair with his wife while Brad was serving overseas.

Things got out of control, and Kyle ended up shooting Brad. After the shooting, Kyle made a 911 call from Brad’s phone, pretending that he had just found his brother injured. However, evidence at the scene told a different story.

Police arrived at the scene and found Brad with several gunshot wounds in his apartment bedroom.

There were signs of a struggle, including a broken bedroom door and shell casings scattered on the floor. An autopsy later showed that Brad was shot in the back at close range, making it clear that this was a personal attack.

Neighbors told police that they heard two men arguing before the shots were fired, and one of them was accusing the other of having an affair.

Later, Brad’s ex-wife confirmed that she had been in a relationship with Kyle, adding more complexity to the tragic situation.

The brothers also had a history of violence. Months before the shooting, Kyle reportedly hit Brad with a gun, and this incident was confirmed by both family members and coworkers.

The investigation also found that Kyle had a history of threatening others. He had once sent a photo of himself holding a 9 mm handgun to a coworker.

This was the same type of gun used in Brad’s murder. When police searched the apartment, they also found an empty gun case that linked Kyle to the weapon.

Kyle’s time on the run came to an end when someone in Iowa reported him to the police.

The person said that Kyle had confessed to the murder and had been pretending to be a veteran in need of work to gain sympathy.

A deputy later found Kyle walking along a road and took him into custody.
