Shop teacher at Terra Nova High School in Pacifica accused of sexually assaulting student

According to the department on Tuesday, a high school teacher in Pacifica was taken into custody by police on suspicion of engaging in lewd and lascivious behavior toward a female pupil.

According to authorities, Paul Spinetti, 64, a wood shop instructor at Terra Nova High School, was taken into custody on Tuesday for allegedly abusing a student between October 31 and November 4 of last year.

On allegations of sexual battery and indecent and lascivious actions, Spinetti was arrested at his home under a $100,000 warrant.
