SNAP college student eligibility – Food Stamps of up to $292

Sharing is caring!

Check to see if you can get SNAP benefits if you are a college student having trouble paying for food. Not all students can get these Food Stamp checks, which can be worth up to $292. Some students are missing out on them.

Most of the time, students who go to college, university, trade school, or technical school more than half-time can only get SNAP if they meet certain criteria. If this sounds like you, you should look into what you can do to get an exemption.

Keep in mind that the college or university decides what “half-time” enrollment means. Of course, college students also have to meet the general requirements for Food Stamps.
