In November, this monthly payment will come to an end. Food Stamps is another name for it. Now is the time to create a December budget so that you can schedule your grocery shopping for the day you receive your benefits.

Your SNAP payments might arrive on the same payday as everyone else who qualifies if you live in Texas or Florida, but it might take up to 28 days if you live in another state.

Complete list of States issuing SNAP benefits in early December

Only two states, it turns out, will not start disbursing SNAP benefits in the first week of December. Maine and South Dakota are a couple of them. Maine will start making money on December 10th, but South Dakota will only provide food stamps on December 10th.

SNAP amounts in December 2024

Between December 20, 2024, and September 30, 2025, the upper limits will remain unchanged. A single person on SNAP can get up to $292 per month in 48 states throughout the Union.

The largest benefit payouts will go to those with large families. Keep in mind that if you are eight years old, you can receive up to $1,756. The state with the largest benefit payments will once again be Alaska.

Residents of Alaska’s Rural 2 areas will get up to $3,516 for a household of eight and up to $586 for an individual. Hawaii, Guam, and the U.S. Virgin Islands also send larger payments due to higher prices.
