The Sonoma County Sheriff’s Office stated that earlier evacuation orders along the Russian River, which were caused by this week’s atmospheric river, are still in effect despite Wednesday’s bright weather.

Until 6 a.m. on Thursday, Guerneville and the unincorporated Healdsburg to Jenner area, which is 36 feet above or below the river, are under a flood warning for the Russian River.

The Russian River near Guerneville reached 36.16 feet as of Wednesday at 8 a.m. Up until 10 p.m. on Wednesday, a flood warning remained in force for a large portion of Sonoma County.

Blue properties are those that are under evacuation orders.

The west parking lot of the Santa Rosa Veterans Memorial Building, located at 1351 Maple Ave. in Santa Rosa, has been designated as a temporary evacuation location.
