SSDI payment: Only these 2 groups of disability beneficiaries will receive $1,539 shortly

The SSDI payment will keep coming in early November. This disability money will come in faster next month than it did in October. Disability insurance payments from Social Security are due on November 3, but not next month.

The Social Security Administration (SSA) had to change the date of the SSDI payments because it had not been a business day in the past. As a result, everyone who is eligible will get their payment early.

New date for the SSDI payment

Based on the Social Security Administration’s payment schedule, the next Disability Insurance payment will be made on November 1, 2024. Every business and bank is closed on November 3, Sunday. You had to start getting SSDI before May 1997 or be getting both SSDI and SSI.

So, these disability payments might not have been sent on time if this change hadn’t been made. There is important news about the new date for Disability Insurance in November.

The payment date will be split between SSI and SSDI. That is why, if you are getting both payments (Supplemental Security Income and Disability Insurance), you will get all of your money at the same time.

Will maximum and average SSDI amounts be the same?

In November and December, the Social Security Disability Insurance payments will be the same. The new COLA will not come into effect for these recipients until January 2025.

So the possible amounts will be:

  • largest Disability Insurance payment: $3,822
  • average payment for workers with a disability: $1,539
  • average payment for children of workers with a disability: $492
  • average payment for spouses of workers with a disability: $421
