The January SSI payment will not be sent on January 1 because banks and SSA offices are closed. We had to set the January 1 payment for December 31, 2024, because today is a Federal Holiday.

So, people who get SSI will get the 2025 COLA raise in 2024. People can get an extra $276 a year from the COLA, which is about 23 dollars on top of the highest amount.

The last day to get Supplemental Security Income as a married couple is December 31, 2024. Three hundred fifty dollars more each month. These people can get an extra $420 over a year. In other words, the COLA will help Americans with low incomes.
