Strong wind gusts batter Bay Area; wind advisory in effect through Wednesday

From Monday evening through Wednesday morning, a wind advisory has been issued by the National Weather Service for a large portion of the Bay Area.

The East Bay hills, Marin hills, Santa Cruz highlands, North Bay interior highlands, the San Francisco Peninsula Coast, and the eastern Santa Clara hills are all predicted to experience winds of 20 to 30 mph with gusts as high as 50 mph.
