When a young Tesla fan chose to buy a Model 3, he had no idea the unexpected journey that was about to begin.

Meet Winston, a determined kid who bought this car from Geico for only $15,000. He plans to take it apart and put it back together again.

Tesla restoration project

Winston put in a USB drive to get data from the car’s built-in computer while he worked on the restoration job. He was shocked when the video showed the exact moment the car had a dramatic T-bone crash.

Winston was interested in these cars from a young age, mostly because of the interesting videos made by the famous creator Rich Rebuilds.

  • His passion for rebuilding this car brand was so evident that it caught the attention of his parents.
  • They wholeheartedly encouraged him to undertake the restoration of this car for their family.

Winston found this damaged Tesla Model 3 at a junk yard because he was excited about the task of bringing it back to life.

The car was declared a total loss after the accident and put up for sale. Winston, however, saw its promise and chose to turn it into the US’s least expensive Tesla Model 3.
