CABARRUS COUNTY, N.C. (QUEENS CITY NEWS) — The Cabarrus County Sheriff’s Office has charged a man in connection with the discovery of a woman’s body three weeks ago along the Highway 601 bridge over the Rocky River.
On November 2, Iltride Dade, 33, was reported missing to the Orange County Sheriff’s Office in Florida by her family. On Monday, November 4, she was found dead close to the bridge.
According to investigators, she was believed to be with her lover, Jacques Hans-Jerome, 47, a long-haul truck driver who was traveling to Concord.
Hans-Jerome has been held on a $1 million secured bond for improper concealment of death, but the investigation is still underway.
He has addresses in Jacksonville and Concord, according to deputies. His next court date is December 12, 2024, according to the sheriff’s office.
