The father of a 14-year-old girl shot and killed a child molester who had previously stalked and indecently harassed his daughter; charged

Arkansas – A. Spencer, a 36-year-old father, is being charged with first-degree murder after a terrible event in Arkansas. This case has caught the attention of people in both Arkansas and Indiana. Police say Spencer killed a 67-year-old former police chief in Indiana last week.

The man was named as M. Fosler and has a history of sexual offenses against minors, including allegedly assaulting Spencer’s 14-year-old daughter. Such actions led to the charges.

Because of a sad chain of events, a father’s desperate effort to find and protect his missing daughter has led to a preliminary first-degree murder charge. Spencer found Fosler with his 14-year-old daughter in the car.

Spencer shot and killed Fosler during a heated argument, which led to his arrest. The event happened early Tuesday morning last week. Spencer’s wife and the girl’s mother later shared sad news about their family, saying they thought Fosler was going to hurt or kill their daughter.

“This guy who abused their daughter was given a bond, and we caught him with their daughter that night.” Spencer was first taken into custody at the holding center, and the investigation is still going on.

Records from the jail show that he was freed on a $150,000 bond by Wednesday afternoon, thanks to help from the community. The sheriff’s office has made it clear that the murder charge is only preliminary. It will be up to the lawyer to decide if it becomes official.

The scary story started when the Spencers found their daughter missing from home and called 911 right away. Spencer quickly went outside to look for her and found her with Fosler in a car. A fight broke out between the two men, and Spencer shot Fosler.

Fosler was declared dead at the scene of the crime, according to the sheriff’s office. Spencer’s wife said it was like her worst fear came true. She wrote on Facebook, “We definitely called 911 during the whole thing.” “We had no idea that this man was talking to our kid again.

” Not two, but six to nine crimes for what he did. He was going to spend the rest of his sad life in jail, and our daughter was the only one who saw it. On social media, Spencer’s arrest has caused both anger and sympathy. Many people have called him a hero.

Spencer’s wife said that Fosler had been in trouble with the law before. The man, who is 67 years old, was caught in July for sexual assault and following the couple’s daughter around the internet. He was, however, freed on a $50,000 bond and had been waiting for his trial.

The family had a no-contact order against him, but they didn’t know that Fosler had started talking to their daughter again. Scary things about Fosler’s past were also told by Spencer’s wife.

“We have a clear picture of a predator who worked with kids all the time and preyed on little girls,” she wrote. This man used to be the chief of police in Indiana and a resource officer. This helps us understand why the courts have been protecting him while going after my husband.

Sheriff J. Staley stated that investigators are still gathering proof to decide if the shooting was legal or not. He said, “When we get to the scene and there’s a homicide, it means that someone killed someone else.” “Either it’s right or it’s wrong.”

That’s what the probe and finding the facts will show. Staley also made it clear that he does not back predators by saying, “I’m a dad.” I’ve got three girls. There’s no one I would put before our children, their children, or my children. I know she’s hurt right now.

At the same time, Staley made it clear that the district attorney, not the sheriff’s office, makes the final call on charges. People have said bad things about how the sheriff’s office has handled the case. Spencer’s arrest has caused a lot of anger, with many people saying that police failed to protect the girl and her family while putting Spencer’s privacy first.

After Spencer was arrested, his family asked for money to pay for his legal bills. Spencer’s wife started a GoFundMe effort to raise money, but the site shut it down because it’s against their rules to raise money for people who are facing criminal charges.

Spencer’s wife used other apps, like Venmo and Cash App, to get gifts so they could keep fighting in court. “Donations are great and needed,” she wrote, “but even with the court case, this has been the worst thing that has ever happened to our family, so please just pray for us and add us to your prayer chains.”

Spencer’s wife was also thankful for all the support they have gotten from the community and from other people who say they were victims of Fosler and have come forward with their stories. “We are so moved by all the love we’re getting on social media,” she said.

The family is still focused on defending Spencer and getting their lives back on track while the probe goes on. People were told by Sheriff Staley that the investigation would be over quickly. He said, “We’re going to finish this as soon as possible and fax the file to the prosecutor so he can make an informed decision.”

Spencer’s wife’s last message to fans showed how hard this whole situation has been on the family. She wrote, “This has been the worst thing that has ever happened to us.” “We just want to protect our family, and we appreciate everyone who is with us.”
