Troops were called to a collision involving two vehicles on Bostic-Sunshine Highway near Whiteside Road in Sunshine, North Carolina, at approximately 5:45 p.m. on Friday.

Troopers reported that one car going north crossed the centerline and struck another car going south. The car fire that broke out after the event claimed the lives of five people.
