Due to a teen’s gunshot death last week, two 17-year-olds are in juvenile detention.

Two 17-year-old male juveniles were arrested, according to St. Louis County Police Department Sergeant Tracy Panus. Because they committed second-degree murder, they are being detained as juveniles.

The incident happened on November 14 at around 4:55 p.m. close to the intersection of Regina and Horn avenues, according to a news release from the St. Louis County Police Department.

Officers found a 16-year-old man who had been shot multiple times when they arrived.
