Following a nighttime burglary, two individuals were taken into custody by the Des Moines Police Department on several felony charges.
Patrol officers from the DMPD 1st Watch responded to a burglary alarm in a business facility in the 3300 block of East Euclid Avenue at approximately 3:16 in the morning.
Officers found evidence of a break-in when they got there, but they didn’t find any suspects. Other police officers began to search the area.
Officers found a tent in a wooded area north of the location after following footprints in the snow.
Two guys left the area after DMPD officers identified themselves, however they were caught a short distance later.
