Two people were hurt in a shooting in Union City early Saturday morning. The police are looking into what happened.
The shooting happened in a parking lot on the 1800 block of Whipple Road just before 2 a.m., but no one has been arrested yet, according to the Union City Police Department.
The police said that when they got to the scene of the shooting, they saw “evidence of gunfire” but no one was there.
Afterward, though, two people with gunshot wounds showed up at nearby hospitals. Both are likely to make it through.
