A teacher in New Haven has been arrested for the fourth time this year, facing several charges, according to local authorities.
The police reported that L’Tanya Brooks-Draughn, who teaches at Barnard Magnet School, has been arrested for multiple offenses, including breach of peace, assault, criminal trespassing, and violating a protective order.
The school’s website lists Brooks-Draughn as a special education teacher.
Her first arrest occurred on May 14 in connection with an incident at a private residence. Then, on June 13, she was arrested again for an issue at her home.
The police arrested her two more times: once on September 20 and again on October 16, both for violating a protective order.
