Body camera footage from a roadside narcotics raid earlier this year was made public by the Ohio State Highway Patrol (OSHP).

Police body camera footage from a semi truck traffic stop in Madison County in August 2024 was made public by the OSHP on Monday, December 16.

In the video, the officer informs the truck driver that he started the traffic stop because the motorist was approaching him at speeds of 74 and 75. You jumped into the right lane and applied the brakes.

You periodically veered out of your lane while traveling at about 72 or 73 mph. Moreover, your trailer plate is no longer valid.

After growing skeptical of the driver’s trip itinerary, the trooper chooses to examine the vehicle.

The OSHP trooper found 300 pounds of methamphetamine and 17.6 pounds of cocaine concealed within the truck’s trailer during the traffic check. The estimated street value of the drugs seized is $14.26 million.

The 41-year-old truck driver is charged with felony narcotics trafficking, according to OSHP.
