Additional charges have been brought against a contractor in Warren County who cheated clients out of thousands of dollars.

In June, Sam Zawosky was found guilty on two theft counts and sentenced to pay over $42,000 in compensation to two victims.

Additionally, he received a five-year community control (probation) sentence. According to Judge Don Oda, victims would have very little chance of getting their money back if Zawosky was given a jail or prison sentence.

Homeowners in Greater Cincinnati started sharing stories two years ago, alleging that the contractor had defrauded them of thousands of dollars.

Zawosky was charged with one count of credit card fraud and identity theft on Monday. The claimed incidents in August 2021 are the basis for the new allegations.
