Woman charged homicide in Missouri; other victims in Arkansas

A homicide that took place in their jurisdiction early on Thursday morning is being looked into by Aurora Marionville Police. After arriving at the station, the suspect turned herself in and is currently in arrest.

In her statement on Wednesday night, Santiago continued to inform officers that she had gone to Arkansas and shot two other individuals, one of whom she said was the biological father of one of her children.

A man and woman were shot during a disturbance late Wednesday night, according to a statement issued by the Carroll County, Arkansas, sheriff’s office Thursday afternoon.

The woman passed away, and the man was taken to the hospital in critical condition. In Missouri, a suspect in the shooting was being held.

According to AMPD Chief Wes Coatney, they possess the gun that was used in the crimes.

in the moment, Santiago is being detained in the Lawrence County Jail.

The following charges are imposed on her:

  • Murder 1st
  • Robbery 1st
  • Unlawful Use of a Weapon (Discharged into a residence)
  • Endangering the Welfare of a Child
