2 arrested following a shooting that left one dead in Ohio

Two males have been taken into custody and charged by the Columbus Division of Police in relation to the gunshot death that occurred in the Mount Vernon neighborhood last week.

Both 18-year-old Mi Shawn Thomas and 19-year-old Giavon Hayes are accused of killing 18-year-old Darnell Brown-Jones.

The shooting took place at approximately 10:30 p.m. on November 14. Reports of gunfire in the 900 block of Eton Grove, close to I-670, prompted officers to arrive.
