San Francisco social media personality Ricci Wynne pleads not guilty to pimping charges

According to District Attorney Brooke Jenkins, the San Francisco social media star who was detained last weekend on suspicion of human trafficking entered a not guilty plea on Wednesday.

The DA said that Ricci Wynne, 39, was charged with pimping and pandering by procuring. He entered a not guilty plea to every accusation.

Wynne, a social media star who shares recordings of drug usage and criminality in the city, was taken into custody on Sunday evening.

Just before 9 p.m., according to the police, Wynne and a woman were taken into custody at the San Francisco International Airport.

Police said they have probable cause to arrest him after searching his residence in the 300 block of Fremont Street.

On Wednesday, the DA claimed that Wynne’s phones “contained evidence of sex advertisements for a woman, communications of the woman being available to have sex in exchange for money, and the collecting of money.”

Wynne was eventually freed, according to police, who said they were looking into a prior incident when they arrested her.

Wynne’s detention while awaiting trial was requested by the prosecution. He was momentarily freed, nonetheless, in order to enter federal custody. He was told to come back to court on December 6.

December 12 is the date of his preliminary hearing.
