Driver suspected of leading police on a chase at speeds up to 120 mph in Greater Cincinnati

After a multi-county police chase that ended in a collision, a Cincinnati man was taken into custody.

According to WHIO, a Franklin police officer on patrol at the Pilot Travel Center on Franklin Lebanon Road on December 30 found a vehicle with a fake registration tag.

As the vehicle entered Interstate 75 North, the officer followed it.

Authorities informed WHIO that the driver fled at up to 120 mph when he tried to stop him.

After leaving the highway at Austin Boulevard, the vehicle struck a pole at the intersection of SR-741.

After that, he ran away but was caught on North Springboro Pike.

Stephen Reynolds, Jr. was recognized as the driver. He is charged with reckless driving, breaking 30 mph speed restrictions, evading, impeding government business, and failing to comply. At the time, he was also on parole.

He is incarcerated in Warren County at the moment.
